LEGACY

Premier Education Society: A Legacy of Education

Established in 1935, the Premier Education Society (PES) boasts a rich history of providing quality education in India. Their journey began with the founding of Premier High School in Karachi in 1935. Recognized by the Department of Education, Sind and affiliated with the University of Bombay at the time, the school quickly established itself as a premier educational institution.

Following the partition of India in 1947, PES displayed remarkable resilience. They successfully restarted the school in Mumbai, registering under the Societies Act in 1952. This dedication was further underscored by their registration under the Public Trusts Act in 1959.

Committed to growth and development, PES embarked on a school building project in 1954. The current location in Sion, Mumbai, with its spacious grounds, reflects their vision for providing a nurturing learning environment.

In 1965, the school was renamed A. M. Kewalramani Premier School. Today, it offers both primary and secondary education, preparing students for the S.S.C. Examination. Notably, the secondary department receives government support in the form of salary grants.

PES’s commitment to educational diversity is evident with the establishment of Trinity International School in 2003. This permanently unaided school caters to students seeking a globally recognized curriculum. To accommodate this expansion, PES expanded the existing building, creating a modern learning space. Trinity International School’s excellence is further emphasized by its status as a Cambridge International Centre since 2006.

The Premier Education Society stands as a testament to the power of dedication and vision in education. Their unwavering commitment to providing quality education, without discrimination, has enriched the lives of countless students for over eight decades.
